I obtained my Bachelor of Architecture with Honours and Bachelor of Planning and Design at the University of Melbourne, Australia. The foundation of my architectural career began designing single family residences with Architects EAT and Christopher Chris, where I developed an attention to detail as well as experience dealing with the nuances of residential clients. At Studio 505 I quickly rose to be a design leader within the office, heading competition winning teams for INTERPOL Global Complex and The Malaysian Academy for Han Studies. In my years working in Australia I developed a deep value for thought-provoking architecture, rich in narrative and cultural relevance.
Moving to San Francisco five years ago, I worked at Mark Dziewulski Architect where I took charge of the design development, permitting and construction documentation for 32 townhomes in West Sacramento. Despite the repetition of floor plans each house had its own unique facade and personality. Following this I grew into the role of Project Architect with Jensen Architects, working on projects of varying scale and typology. These included a single family home in Healdsburg, a retail space for Rejuvenation in Palo Alto, a cafe in Lake Tahoe, and the office’s largest residential mixed-use development, 3333 California. These projects required a sharp eye for design, navigation of stringent planning and building codes for successful permitting, and responsibility for construction documentation and contract administration. In addition to my day-to-day workload I also chaired the IT Committee and spearheaded Jensen Architects’ transition to Revit.
Fluency in CAD and sophisticated 3D design techniques are among my core strengths, where my speed and precision are matched by creative innovation. Working fluidly between AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Revit, Sketchup, Rhino and VRay I am able to quickly iterate design ideas to a high degree of resolution. Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign are embedded in my workflow and I pride myself on generating articulate and beautiful and evocative presentation packages. I trust my unique energy and enthusiasm will be at home at your firm and I am determined to build on my extensive experience to become an integral employee with the intention to show leadership at every opportunity.
With Australian & European citizenship coupled with permanent US residency I am able to work and travel as required. Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
