About

I am a recent M.Arch graduate and avid traveler. Learning from Las Vegas, I understand both sustainable design and sociospatial dynamics having lived in the Mojave Desert and the built environment of the Las Vegas Strip. I am a maker and thinker who rejects mediocrity in design and pushes research and innovation. My diverse experiences and work provide a unique approach to engage in collaborative design thinking.

Hospitality Design Concentration.

Through grad school I began to align a future path in robotics and architecture as I developed a passion for both experimental design and technical feasibility. A thesis research proposal focused on collaborating with a UNLV start-up, Dronesmith Technologies to evaluate a UAV system using a mobile device payload for building analysis. Opportunity also arose in collaborating with UNLV Engineering’s Robotics Lab ran by Dr. Paul Oh. Initially, the hospitality design studio was asked to envision schematic design proposals for a robotics theme park to be located in Las Vegas. After the studio, I was invited to join the robotics lab and shadowed ongoing projects and research. In collaboration with the lab I developed a robotic prototype for a hospitality start-up pitch to investors and industry professionals.

Throughout my graduate assistantship I was part of implementing change in the foundations department at UNLV School of Architecture. By assisting faculty in developing coursework revolving around digital fabrication I further developed my skillset and troubleshooting with tools including Arduino, 3d printers, laser cutters and a cnc router.
