About

I have accumulated over 22 years of expertise overseeing operations, managing projects, and providing creative design direction for hospitality and multifamily developments. My extensive expertise equips me to conduct detailed feasibility studies to assess project objectives before committing to them. With over 18 years of experience working in New York City, I have collaborated with renowned real estate development clients such as Related, Extel, and Moinian Group, identifying previously unrecognized value added to projects.

In early 2021, I started overseeing the hospitality projects at AB Design Studio. This involved managing the project’s staff, clients, schedule, and budget. The hospitality projects at ABDS included the Dream Hotel Palm Springs, the expansion of the Hilton Santa Barbara, and The Harley, a boutique hotel in Santa Barbara.

Prior to relocating to California, I supervised several hotel projects at Marx Development, including the Tribute Portfolio by the Marriot. My daily duties involved managing the project’s consultant teams, in-house GC, budget, and schedule. I also collaborated closely with the designers and engineers to enhance the project’s materials and systems while preserving its original concept and narrative.

During the onset of the 2009 economic downturn, my comprehensive understanding of the global market enabled a collaboration with John Fotiadis to identify lucrative yet underexploited markets in Eastern Europe. As the Director of Operations, I oversaw the office expansion, client relations, and business development. Moreover, I managed various hospitality projects, including the Tsinandali wine resort by Radisson Blu and the Trump Tower in Batumi, Georgia.

As a senior designer architect at the renowned Costas Kondylis architectural firm, I successfully managed the design and development of multiple high-rise hospitality, multifamily, and mixed-use projects in New York City. My responsibilities encompassed overseeing the entire building massing, space planning, and design process, from initial zoning studies to construction.

Upon graduating early in my career, I was privileged to contribute to the Alexandria Library with Hamza Associates, a landmark project, through collaboration with Snøhetta, a recognized international design firm.
