Built in a steep canyon in the wooded area of Cuernavaca.
The architectural proposal reflects the intention of framing nature from all interior spaces of the residence and integrate it with the four trees of extraordinary beauty that exist within the property.
This is a two-story residence with an access floor.
Access consists of two L-shaped walls that serves as backdrop to the monumental tree behind them and hides the construction. Further invites the inhabitant to pass the threshold, the decks and the bridge leads him toward the stairs.
Three prisms, two parallel on the main floor and one perpendicular on the ground floor, are anchored to the ground and emerge as a stranded boat. The spaces of the house, small and comfortable, and the minimum flow that links them evoke the inside of a ship.
The Pool is built over the prism of the Ground Floor, this location provide users a privileged view.
Faced with such a display of nature intended to frame always felt necessary, the concrete structure which rises in the ground floor as an anchor it is proof of that.
The roughness of the tree barks are reflected on the walls and rustic elements of concrete, present both indoors and on the facades.
