Modern Architecture Project

Family house for a family of 4.

The project arises from the basic intent of the applicant to build a dwelling on site characteristics of modern architectural language which is defined by simple lines, textures and colors that fit into the countryside.

The villa comprise three floors, two above the ground level and one below the ground level, and a barbecue area with clothesline.

The distribution of divisions has been arranged to make the house functional and harmonious, taking advantage of excellent views of the "Serra de Montejunto", the sun and the relation between the interior and exterior.

The stairs are the pivot of the house, they divide social and private areas of the house. On the main floor we have the linving-room, dinning-room and the kitchen. In the second-floor are the bed-rooms and the suite divided by the catwalk from the guest-rooms.

• Treatment of clothing;
• Storage;
• Basement.

Floor 0:
• Entrance hall;
• Kitchen with Laundry and Storeroom;
• Living Room;
• Dining Room;
• Social toilet;
• Barbecue with clothesline.

FLOOR 1:
• 2 Bedrooms with toilet and closet;
• Suite with toilet and dressing room;
• Bedroom with toilet and dressing room;
• Bedroom with closet;
• Social toilet.

 

The materials used combine harmoniously the architectural identifying several areas. The texture of wood of the body of the stairs stands out, that material is also used in the suite and the livingroom. The brick wall that lines some walls in the living room,dining room, guest room and garage. The remaining walls are painted to the color maroon.
To give some impetus to the elevations were introduced elements such as porches and visors that also serve to give some shade to the openings.
