Homeowners were retiring to the Hill Country and consolidating 3 residences. They wanted a home designed to entertain and capture the views of the Hill Country sunsets. I took into account the slope of the property and the sun angles throughout the year. The result is a 10,600 sq.ft. home with a wrap around porch, two dual curved staircases and a 'catwalk' to a floating guest bathroom. The media room has a 7' drop down screen and an inverted dome with fiber optic lights to simulate the stars. The 18'x19' two-chef, dual work triangle kitchen features a wolf range, two fisher paykel dish drawers and an 8'x5' island. Along with an indoor koi pond and fireplace clad with native hill country rock carved by a local artisan and infused with his personal stone carvings. The home has 3 bedrooms (2 true master suites and a guest room), 3-1/2 bathrooms, study, media room, gift wrapping room, and a large walk-in pantry.
