URBAN RESILIENCE: Adapting to Climate Extremes - Reducing Disaster Risk
Projects:
➤ Conduct research and prepare reports on topics relevant to urban resilience, particularly in the context of climate extremes and disaster risk.
➤ Review established frameworks for analysing city resilience, such as the 10 Essentials (MCR) and the City Resilience Framework (CRF).
➤ Conduct a review of the results and methodology used for the City Resilience Index (CRI) in Myanmar, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the methodology.
➤ Apply the lessons learned from Myanmar CRI development process to refine the methodology for establishing a baseline city resilience assessment of target cities in Vietnam. Prepare a draft SOP.
➤ As directed by the supervisor, research, review, write and edit specific sections of the Urban Study in support of the AIIB project on Urban Disaster Resilience Sub-Sector Analysis.
➤ Prepare minutes of meetings (internal and external), submitting the minutes to your supervisor within the agreed schedule.
➤ Assist in logistical matters for workshops, training, conferences and other events in which the Department is contributing (remotely).
➤ Other duties as assigned.
