Renovation and extension to an 1930's farm workers house in rural Norfolk, set in amongst agricultural fields with forests in the background. The intention was to create a retreat that maximises views out to the countryside, with a series of peaceful and calming living spaces.

A mixture of traditional and contemporary building materials were used, including brick to reflect the construction of the original house and timber cladding inspired by the

vernacular construction of nearby agricultural barns. A green roof enhances the bio-diversity of the house and ensures that it blends harmoniously into its setting.
