I worked on a large residential development which required close communication with local authorities and developers to develop a design code which was utilised in meeting key planning requirements.

At Lewis & Hickey architects in Edinburgh I worked within a team to refurbish existing banks all over the UK. The challenge was to configure a new improved layout for customers and staff. I was involved from the initial schemes through development and detailed design. Site visits to branches were vital to communicate with contractors, structural engineers and clients. My time at L&H included working on many listed buildings in conservation areas, which required essential communication with local authorities.
