About

I am an architect trained in the Spanish School of Architecture, which has given me great comprehension of the notions of construction, having a strong sense of the inherent materiality of the architecture and a subsequent ability to design constructive details.

With this background, I entered Columbia University in search of a meaning to all that pragmatism that eventually is so different from what is being built. Consequently, I was lucky to have Bernard Tschumi as a studio critic during the fall semester of 2011, that under the statement "material and concept", helped me find the theoretical ground that I needed for my design, bringing my project to a level of depth that I consider very satisfactory. Additionally, studying the Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design at GSAPP has triggered my innate analytic and thorough disposition, which has emerged as an excellent skill for investigation.

My positive attitude helps me cope with the periods of stress: I create a good atmosphere when working in a team, and I am flexible enough to take on different roles during the process of design. I am willing to work, and my commitment to the field of architecture makes me highly meticulous with my work. I take my responsibilities seriously and I am accustomed to accomplishing tasks within the stipulated deadlines. My inquisitive nature allows me to learn quickly and find self-motivation in the tasks I am designated. Always in search of new answers, I respond positively to any challenge or criticism.

I am currently looking forward to find a job that allows me to enter the practice in New York and to continue evolving in my career.
