Alex Sadeghi is an architect and designer, member of the Swiss Institute of Architects and Engineers (SIA). He holds a Scientific Master's Degree in Architecture from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), and has designed urban, architectural, and interior design projects around the globe. He gained experience at such renowned firms as MAD Architects in Beijing, Lemanarc S.A in Lausanne, and CetraRuddy Architecture in New York City, and has subsequently led dozens of celebrated projects to completion as principal at Studiolite.
His previous architectural and design works include skyscrapers in New York City (including upcoming supertall 45 Broad), the Pingtan Art Museum and Harbin Grand Theater in China, and Fully Primary Education Center in Switzerland. He has also been involved in commercial and hospitality interior design projects in New York City, Paris, and Dubai.
At Studiolite, he has headed projects such as the overarching design strategy for Lady M's entrance into the Chinese market, the On+Off multi-brand fashion store and BIUU showroom on Shanghai's historic Bund, the innovative Stream Tower in Nanjing, as well as retail outlets for Blondel Chocolate around China.
Crossover works he has overseen include branding and visual identity upgrades and product design concepts for Audi Motors, the Lenovo Group, Shanghai's Hongqiao and Pudong Airports, WeChat + Tencent, Fosun, Hearthsong, and Kaixin Mahua. He also developed multimedia exhibitions, including the Love Theater pop-up at Beijing's Today Art Museum, and Continuous Refle(a)ction, an international art exhibit focused on climate change.
Active in the academic world, Alex has acted as studio instructor for Chinese undergraduate architecture students at RAC Academy in Shanghai, and a guest critic at his alma mater in Lausanne.
