This residence hall was designed around the idea of part to whole. Taking into account current zoning restrictions, the building needed to confine to the allowable envelope while still managing to incorporate the required unit count.

The custom facade system is composed of two layers with the outer most being perforated metal panels used to act as sunshields. The design allowed for a user controlled override to open the spaces up to the exterior.
