Zaxcova Elements Spa

This project was a reuse of an old bakery in Bowling Green, KY. To create an environment suitable for a spa experience – soothing, peaceful and calm. To show an Art deco feel to the spaces by exhibiting sharp edges. Paths should include visual interest by overhead beams suggesting one to be one within the space. The use of natural light is emphasized by having the lighting surround sky lights where necessary. Rooms are placed strategically to utilize  Doing so entails minimizing distracting noise from adjacent spaces, from one treatment room to another and from external noise sources (such as street traffic).
