I am very interested in the Graphic Design position. I will graduate in May from the University of South Carolina with a Visual Communications major and a Graphic Design minor.
I feel I am very qualified for this position.  I am proficient in all the Adobe Suite programs such as Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop and have become very familiar with these in creating a variety of publications at my current job. I how the ins and outs of word and excel on both a PC and MAC.  I am currently interning for the University of South Carolina’s housing department in their Marketing and Communications department. Over the past year with the housing department, I have designed a number of publications such as their yearly move-in guide, brochures, flyers, as well as editing content for these materials.  I’ve worked under the Marketing and Communications Director reporting my designs to her allowing for constructive criticism. In addition to, I’ve updated and created brochures for West Chester University this past summer. I work well under tight deadlines as you know when a design is needed by a certain date it needs to be completed. I wish to also have the opportunity to learn even more while working as a Graphic Designer.
