Alexandra Ziemba

Ann Arbor, MI, US

I am currently a candidate for the Master of Architecture degree at the University of Michigan. I have a passion for small details, research, and and a love of history. I strive to ask questions that may not yet have answers, and in time look to uncover more about the connections between people and design. I seek a more intimate knowledge of our relationship with architecture and design.

My current architectural studies combine interests with the fields of social psychology, culture and cognition studies, anthropology, sustainable design, history, and theory.

My previous education was at the University of Cincinnati DAAP program, where I studied architecture and historic preservation. I have worked in both retail design at FRCH and Gensler and high end custom residential design at Rolfs Elert Office.
