The East is a becoming the promise land as Paris gradually breaks away from its industrial ties. The idea is to build a summit here, a focal point for a new century of transformaiton in the city. We must give character and uniqueness in relation to the reality of the site, with this goal: to reveal its particular beauty, rely on it to invent and enhance the attractiveness of the place.

Two buildings form the project. Two separate buildings but designed to respond to each other to form a dialogue between them and their environment. To stage this dialogue, Jean has focused in on the facades and their rhythms and materiality. All through his expressiveness,the bulidng acquires and marks a status of total resonance with the site, announcing the urban development in the area.
