Alberto Chan received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design in New York City. Upon graduation he was distinguished with the Parsons Golden Portfolio Award and he was the recipient of the Scholarship Award from the International Interior Design Association in New York. Since then Chan has worked with several high-end hospitality and residential interior design firms, such as Jonathan Adler, Nicole Fuller, and Tony Chi.
Alberto Chan aspires to identify and to highlight the essence of materials through his projects, taking the simple and transforming them into compelling designs through details and finishes. He is inspired by nature, art, technology, and his international background after having lived in Hong Kong, Macau, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York. His design philosophy combines craftsmanship, comfort and functionality to achieve a distinctive and elegant timeless design.
