My name is Akif Emre. I graduated from Gebze Technical University, Department of Architecture as the top student in my department. During my five years of education and after graduation, I worked as an architect in various institutions. I am currently studying urban design for my master’s degree at Istanbul Technical University. In the projects I worked on, I had the opportunity to work on concept projects, application projects, and building details, and I completed these projects by following the construction site processes.

As an architect, I am passionate about mastering the details of buildings from the concept stage and being involved in the production processes of these details. I continue to improve myself in these areas by conducting research on sustainable architecture and architectural philosophy. I also work on post-digital architectural visualization. I am proficient in Autocad, Revit, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Sketchup, Lumion, V-ray, Photoshop, and Indesign software.

I have primarily utilized CAD software in the projects I have designed and managed thus far. I have a significant proficiency in Autocad, in particular. In these projects, I was responsible for the concept design, application project drawing, and detail design, as well as the processes conducted through CAD software. For modeling works, I primarily utilized Sketchup and Rhinoceros software.

Finally, I believe that architecture is a process, and that only when this process is carried out in a positive manner as a team will the resulting work be a livable place. In these projects, I have consistently worked as an architect who contributes to the team and enables it to produce results. I am therefore pleased to be considered for this role.
