My Name is Allison Watkins and I recent graduate from Auburn University with a BS degree in Interior Design and a minor in Business.
I have interned the last three summers and each of the three experiences have provided a different opportunity. I have thoroughly enjoyed putting into practice what I have learned over the last four years. Each summer has served as a stepping stone and has prepared me for full time employment. I assisted with customer selections my first year with Summerhouse Interiors in Miami. Last year I was honored to work for the world renowned firm, Arquitectonica where I enjoyed applying my AutoCAD knowledge. This summer I am learning all facets of an independent residential/retail firm and have assisted with customer selection, installation, ordering, drafting and marketing. I feel fortunate that each internship has been different allowing me to develop a more comprehensive asset that I look forward to bringing to my first full-time position.
