Our client was established in 2009 and had a well-represented engineering agency which focused on structural and civil applications.

Their head office in Leicester was unfortunately restricting their growth which meant that they needed a larger space. They also made us aware that they wanted somewhere with character and not just a planned set of walls. That is where we entered the project and helped them visualise what they could turn their new space into.

After finding a rather large commercial space in the heart of Leicester we were ready to go. Sitting on the third floor of a history building their new office was ready and waiting to be more than just an empty space. 

We landed on a more modern style that everyone loved. We took a contemporary industrial approach to the refurbishment of the Leicester office and created an open-plan design that incorporated some of the best parts of the old building.

Large windows help to flood the space with natural light and allow for an airy atmosphere. This office design took an almost trendy 'loft' inspiration with a touch of an industrial feeling having visible cable trays and galvanised pipework.
