About

Hello,

My name is Adrian. I’m an Architect from Tijuana, Baja California with an area of specialization in project management.

I find myself currently working as a Preconstruction Manager at an industrial construction company. Here I was initially commissioned with starting the whole preconstruction department and forming a small design team with the mission of developing architectural and civil proposals for new clients in the central east and south region of Mexico. As a result of my involvement, which entail the fixation of a tactical plan, designing workflow processes and even interviewing candidates for integrating the newly formed department, preconstruction processes that were formerly carried out by the central offices of the company back in Tijuana are now completed on site, implying that company clients of the region are given a more immediate and a better quality attention.

Former to that, I held different positions mainly oriented to construction management and construction management assistance, but also had worked, in parallel, as a freelancer designer. These positions have enabled me to develop interpersonal-skills for team-building and team-working successfully and have accentuated my practical and creative problem solving mindset. Through my work experience I have reaffirmed that I feel passionate about design as a whole, from its early stages all the way to its concretion.

Employment

Right now, as a Preconstruction Manager, I had opened the preconstruction department in SEICA’s Central Mexico Headquarters and formed a small design team to develop the architectural and civil solutions to all new projects. When I started working in this position I was in charge of resuming projects that were put in stand by because there was no one who could attend them. Later, I started creating and defining workflow processes for the new preconstruction department, so that new projects would be better organize from the beginning and all the way through design development. After that, the necessity of creating a tactical plan was urgent in order to properly found the preconstruction department area.
