Architectural Graduate from the University of Pretoria {South Africa} With Cumlaude. Work experience in Thailand, at ' thingmatter' architects and ScrapLAB Bangkok, 26'10 South Architects and LSP in Johannesburg.
Now I run my own practice called 'Is Sound Architectures' focused on creating temporary architectures using sound and sound design principles and embedding them within sites and websites to engage with social and cultural issues through dialogue and art.
Passionate about travel, exploration, cities and the urban states. Photography and all kinds of media appeal to me, and I attempt to use them in new forms to try and document space, events and loci. I create digital art under the name ISSI_ISSA and fix my paintings and illustrations to the name FussMutt - whilst exploring creative entrepreneurship as a collaborative economist through a prototype service called OTYNET.
Language and writing is a form of creativity which is most beautiful to me and from where I draw most of my inspiration, I believe that words interpreted visually by my imagination are the most exquisitely unique images I can obtain, much better than any visual stimulation is the stimulation of the imagination and thus have soft launched started my podcast radio called 'The Department for Urban Sanity' where I can merge all aspects of sounds into space.
