Sfax is a city full of potential and loaded with memory, whose water has
been a main element in its structure and culture and which has been a
support for the community life of its inhabitants. A character that was
abandoned for lack of time, and then began to fade into oblivion.
In an attempt to re-integrate water into the city and into memory, the
concept of reminiscence is used as a tool to restore the essence of the
place. By speaking to meaning and immersing the visitor in space,
reminiscence provides a sensitive experience that awakens memory and
transforms the visitor from a simple spectator to a 'surveyor' who
dialogues with his environment.
