The overall aim of the project is to provide a state-of the art University with Main College block, consisting of Anatomy, Pathology, Extension education, Animal nutrition, Veterinary Parasitology, Biochemistry, Vet. Pharmacology & Toxicology, Vet.Microbiology, Biotechnology, Animal Genetics, Economics and Statistics Departments comprising Phase 1. The Main Block also comprises of well equipped Laboratories, Library, Exam Halls and Gallery-Type Lecture rooms. This being the Main Admin Block, also provides room for Dean’s Office, Staff Rooms, Office, Store, Conference room and Toilets. Apart from the Main College Block (Phase 1), the Livestock Production and Products Block with departments pertaining to Livestock Production and Management, Poultry Science, Livestock Products Technology (Meat Science and Dairy Science) along with Canteen, Auditorium and Hostels has been phased as Phase 2. Further to this, the Clinical Block with Departments, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Surgery and Radiology, Medicine, Public Health and Epidemiology, Teaching Veterinary clinical complex along with an Instructional livestock farm complex and Staff Quarters is phased for Phase 3. These briefs up the requirements and Phases of the Veterinary College Project.
