Denver, CO
In an effort to make the most minimal intervention on the existing terrain, this residence is embedded into a hillside overlooking the Boulder valley. An entry procession from an uphill meadow provides a sequence of contemplation, decompression, and transition from the home’s suburban context. Textured concrete walls with a variety of surface reliefs grounds the residence to its’ site, while expansive glass walls open up the interior spaces to mountain views from Long’s Peak to Pike’s Peak.
