6,300 sq. ft. residence located on the Arbutus Lake (Staten Island, NY). The project site has direct access to the lake and all of the house premises are oriented towards the lake view. An open pool is integrated into the landscape and acts as a central element of the project, around which a multi-tiered composition of the building is organized. The main feature of the pool is its glass side wall that opens it up towards the house and serves as a conceptual extension of the interior space.
