With over 4 years of global professoinal work expeience, my highest motivation is to have an inclusive, and equitable impact in our urban realm development through community driven, climate-responsive, and collaborative designs that emply research and engagement strategies to advocate the new futures, building social and environmental resiliency. My aesthetic sense and design sensitivity were cultivated under this influence of my life and study experience in different countries.In my point of view, Landscape Designer is not a “career”. During my academic studies in USC, I was awarded academic excellence scholarship and selected to the school exhibition and wined the 2021 USC Guild Charrette Competition. My research work ranges from global scale to small scales, like protecting world environment resources and sets strategies to curtail global
warming, to augment habitats for endangered species, strategies of green technology and sustainable development, and cultural diversity under the urban system, exploring the value and possibilities of public and private spaces.

During my undergraduate study in University of Sheffield for four years, I was awarded academic scholarship and got A every year. My initial creativity and passion for design was excavated by landscape professor Nigel and James, who is one of the world’s leading voices on innovative approaches to landscape design. My design project topics range from urban theory, planning and practice and sustainable system to small scales projects related to the complex relationship between people and environment and also some topics related to the mental health issue with Autism and emotional landscape. I explored lot of interesting design ideas and approach based on arts through hand-drawing and model -making, and all the experience i got there lead me to a better understanding of how to create spaces between spaces and buildings that are both inspirational and functional.
2021 USC Charatte Competetion, Award
On Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, the USC Architectural Guild presented awards to three student teams for their work in the 10th annual and first virtual Design Charrette. Chaired by Guild Board Member Annmarie Plenge, principal at Gensler, this year’s weeklong challenge asked fourth-year, fifth-year, and graduate students from the USC School of Architecture to reimagine a new future for downtown Los Angeles that re-engages the public realm. Teams prepared a design proposal for a two-block area of DTLA that reimagined the relationship between the street and buildings to support a vibrant and act.unity for a post-pandemic world.The Guild Choice Award went to Cloud Valley, comprised of Ekaterina Bogdanova, Liudmila Sergeeva, and Wanting Zhou. Students on both of these winning teams received $250 each.
