In this project, I studied the laws of human visual language in comics and movies and used them to build a series of motels in different cities in Cuba. Each of these motels represents three characteristics that distinguish Cubans from tourists from the outside world, and attempts to utilize public space to create more places of communication between tourists and Cuban locals.
