The Tehran-based ZAV Architects pushes architecture beyond its pre-established elite limits, addressing the production process of architecture rather than its final product. By re-evaluating this process’s components such as scenario, tectonics, and typology, architecture becomes adoptive to an ever-ongoing discourse between the issues internal and external to the discipline. As such, ZAV claims to have a dialogistic and discursive approach toward the real concerns of people both as individuals and members of communities. The delivered aesthetics is the result of [and the response to] such dynamics, as the space’ exposed to it.
