I am an Urban Planner and Landscape Architect.
I have been researching and working on the issues of flooding in planning since 2013. At that time I was working in the Ile de France Urban Planning Institute on the revision of Hanoi Capital Region Master Plan 2030 – 2050. Laurent Perrin my manager got me introduced to amphibious architecture and design during our discussions about Hanoi’s complexity of urbanization and flood issues. Since then I lived in Hanoi to collect local knowledge and do research and a design proposal for my master’s thesis project searching the solution to flood issues, tutored a workshop on the topic of alternative solutions and strategic planning for the development along Red river and worked on a diversity of scales and projects across the landscape and planning fields with my focus being resilience and climate adaptation strategies. Throught this time I have presented my work in Hanoi during a workshop with Hanoi Urban Planning institute, at the first International Conference for Amphibious Architecture Design and Engineering in Bangkok and in the Asian cities masters program in the Architecture School ENSA Belleville in Paris. Recently I followed a course on hydrology, hydraulics and geomorphology of rivers deepening my knowledge on the issues of natural and artificial phenomenon causing floods around the world. As a freelance professional I am currently working on landscape design projects in France and abroad. .
