About 

Yuheng Zhu is a B.Arch graduate from Cornell University. To her, architecture endeavors to create spatial conditions that transform the lives of inhabitants, and consequently to transform urban paradigms. Architects and urban designers have the capacity and responsibility to promote alternative and better urban futures, through active cross-disciplinary dialogues.

As an architect, she believes that meticulous attention to detail and empathy with users is indispensable to a rigorous design. She is always fervent to take challenges and determined to push her work to another level. As a team-oriented designer, she always contributes to her team with disciplined work ethics, productive discussions, and comfortable with consistent iterations.

AntiStatics Architecture, Beijing, CN, Design Assistant / VR Research Staff

• Developed the interior schemes and parametric 3D wall patterns of the iDo Jewelry Store (Beijing).
• As the first specialist recruited, created the office’s first VR visualization. Migrated Rhino models into Unreal Engine and enabled navigation in VR for client meetings.
• As Design Team member, collaborated with two colleagues to build both digital and physical models of “WOVEN GROVE” Hyper-Light Bamboo Tower, a parametric design installation at Design China Beijing 2019.

• Participated in the entire design process for the Barilla Pavilion International Competition Entry, from schematic design to final submission. Fully responsible for the final V-Ray renderings and the post-processing of them.
• Assisted the façade design of a single-family housing renovation project in Brooklyn. Created drawings following AIA CAD Guidelines. Conducted site documentation.
• Collaborated with principal architect Rychiee Espinosa in the design development of the Silent Meditation Forest Cabins Competition Entry.
