Weiyu holds a Master's degree in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her internship experiences encompass a diverse range of fields, including architectural design, exhibition, theme park planning and design, and consultancy.

She is especially interested in urbanism, environmentalism and experience design. It is her belief that by incorporating natural elements with physical or virtual architectural spaces, we could maximize the experience and enhance human-space interactions with different media. During her study at Columbia University and SJTU, she is fully involved in interdisciplinary practices and research, such as utilizing VR technology, developing video game demos, and scripting spatial and visual narratives. She especially enjoys brainstorming and exploring new visual expressions, thrives on the opportunity to push the boundaries of creativity, constantly seeking innovative ways to captivate audiences. Narrative holds a central place in her work, as she firmly believes in the power of storytelling to create meaningful and impactful experiences.
