About

Vanessa (Chiquito) Borg brings a rich history of experiences to her journey in the architecture world. Growing up in a Mexican-American and military family, Vanessa's life was marked by frequent moves and dual cultural life, instilling in her a deep-rooted appreciation for her cultural heritage and family. Her upbringing cultivated qualities of resilience, adaptability and strength, shaping her into the dynamic professional she is today.

Vanessa's architecture approach is to create a people-first approach. As a storyteller, she can see the importance of architecture in our lives. Architecture becomes it's own character in our memories, insights, dreams, and sorrows. People reflect the personality of the built environment. By approaching design in a people-first design, we unite people to their locality and their human experience. Vanessa, as a designer, believes in community, sustainability, and cultural preservation.
