This studio project's goal was to create a slow-food supper club on the east edge of downtown Lincoln. Not only were we supposed to create a restaurant but also an experience that would be unique to the building.
My partner, Mason, and I decided we would design a sushi bar with the same style of ordering as Chipotle and Subway, where you get to pick the ingredients you want in your sushi. Once we had the selection of food decided, we went about how to mold the restaurant around that idea, making the building stand out just as much as the idea of fresh seafood in the middle of a landlocked state does.
