About

I am currently finishing my final credits for a Bach. of Architecture degree at Kennesaw State University, and am actively pursuing my architectural license. I have just completed my architectural thesis and am eager for a new challenge.

My interest in this industry stems from my desire to improve my community and the quality of life for its members, and I believe that can be done best through thoughtful and deliberate architectural design. My professional experience has consisted of both architectural drawing and document development in an office setting, as well as working in the field, measuring and accurately documenting numerous types of construction all over the state of Georgia. I have developed a variety of designs from the conceptual, to the final documentation stages, and have evaluated and developed upon designs originally authored by other individuals. My experience has seen me successfully work independently to complete tasks, as well work with, and lead, teams through various types of projects of differing levels of complexity.

Through my architectural education and my professional experience, I have developed and honed skills from site surveying and design, to building system evaluation and specification, all while meeting strict requirements set forth by construction standards as well as building and safety codes. My experience through all stages of the construction process has made me proficient with most major BIM softwares like Autocad and Revit, as well as programs from the Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suites.

I am a detail oriented, dependable, and easy-going (yet professional) person. I am highly organized, a skillful multi-tasker, and pride myself on my problem solving abilities. I have excellent interpersonal skills and work cohesively on any team, as well as being acutely self-driven and capable of independent work. In addition, I have exceptional leadership capabilities, and am able to fairly and firmly guide those under my supervision to consistently meet performance expectations and deadlines.

A career path that allows me to design in a variety of different sectors, and work with a number of professionals with different focuses and backgrounds is incredibly enticing.
