About

I obtained my master’s degree from the Southern California Institute of Architecture in 2019. During my years at SCI-Arc I learned to think critically about the work I produce, paying close attention to not only aesthetics but also the political implications of my decisions. I feel as though my time at SCI-Arc truly prepared me and gave me the confidence needed to be successful as I began my career. Upon graduating, I was hired at LR Architecture in Burbank and quickly understood the innerworkings of an architecture firm. I have been able to apply my education to assist the firm with design work and the production of 3D models. My work has allowed our clients to better visualize their projects, ultimately leading to their trust in our firm. Creating a positive rapport with not only my clients but my colleagues has ensured a thriving work environment.

While at LR Architecture, I have also taken on private clients as a freelance architect. My experience in the private practice and knowledge of business management has given me the opportunity to work closely with various cities such as: Los Angeles, Burbank, and Glendale. My most recent project was the first development of two ADUs in a multi-family zone to be approved in Burbank. The project brought on many challenges, however, my effective and timely communication with the city and other stakeholders ensured my success. Seeing my work through from the conceptual design of the client to completion has motivated me to pursue greater challenges. I hope to further my skillset by working towards my architectural license.
