Born and raised in New York City, THOMAS CHOW received his architectural education at Cornell University where he received his Bachelor of Architecture and later received his Master of Architecture from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University.
In addition to working in the United States, he has spent over 3 decades working throughout Asia, in Tokyo, Taipei, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Ho Chi Minh City, and Shanghai.
For the past 2 decades, he has been co-leading a successful 20 person design practice based in Shanghai, completing Architecture, Urban Design, and Interior Design projects throughout Greater China and South-East Asia.

- Founded, managed and directed the Design Division of an international operation subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, the largest construction conglomerate in China.
- Directed the efforts of over 40 designers, architects, and engineers in the successful completion of the urban design, architectural design, interior design, landscaping design, and engineering of numerous medium, large-scale projects and international competitions in China and Vietnam.
- Operated in partnership with Central Trading & Development Group, the developer of Saigon South, a 6,000-hectare new city center urban development in Ho Chi Minh City, successfully completing and implementing the master plan and architectural design of numerous commercial and residential parcels.
- Fully responsible for the design content, administration, production, and profit/loss of three inter-related and highly profitable branch offices in Shenzhen, Beijing, and Saigon.

- Co-managed site office in Beijing, China for the design and construction administration of a 5-star luxury hotel and serviced apartment complex. -
