Principal Architect Javad Eiraji and his design team Ali Judaki, Fatemeh Ramezanpur, Elnaz Tofighi, Marjan Ghahremani, Parisa Masudi and Shima Nuri at design and creation studio, Studio Eiraji, have finished their proposal for Isfahan Rizwan Garden Entrance.

Paying Attention to the religious believes is one of the most important things which effects on cultural factors of a society and architecture, as a part of the culture and society, has been challenged with it during the history. Cemeteries and graveyards are important cultural spaces of an Islamic society which reflects the atmosphere and believes of this religion. Heaven and hell and the Islamic believes always make these spaces religious and in most cities of Iran, as an Islamic country in Middle-East, these spaces are called garden or heaven. The entrance of such kind of spaces must reflect the meanings of inside and because of mentioned factors, the main concept and idea for ISFAHAN RIZWAN GARDEN ENTRANCE is to show religious believes of Islam. Because of this reason, translating Islamic traditional factors to the modern language is the main aim of this project. Using Islamic forms, motives, colors and atmosphere reflects the ideas of this cultural and religious space.

The meanings of Persian Garden and its rules and some details of traditional architecture of Isfahan during Safavid dynasty, which was one of the most powerful Islamic governments during 1501-1524 in Iran, such as Mogharnas is another important factor of this project.

The people are sad during entering to this space, as they are carrying their death relatives and families inside and because of that designing and creating such kind of spaces can help the users feel peace and coolness and the details of Islamic architecture may help the designers and architect to reach this aim.

Tehran-based design and creation studio, STUDIO EIRAJI, with its young and creative team, tries to save and show the valuable points and details of Islamic Architecture in their cultural-religious projects.
