While working at Ventura Architecture & Development, a South Florida-based design-build firm, for two consecutive summers, my tasks transcended drafting and site-analysis. I became a flexible and valuable team member. I introduced in-house rendering to the firm; participated in meetings; engaged with clients, sub-contractors, and government officials; and took an active role in the design process. I also completed and submitted CDs from start to finish and managed their permitting process.
