Socorro earned her MFA in Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design in NYC, after graduating with a BArch from Woodbury University in Burbank, CA. She was drawn to lighting due to the interplay between design and technology. She enjoys collaborating with highly talented architects, designers, and engineers on prominent architectural projects.
Socorro has extensive experience on a wide-range of projects from private residences to urban scale masterplans. Her 16 year career in architectural lighting design has produced various award-winning projects including the Dwight D Eisenhower Memorial and the Aspen Museum of Art.
