This project develops a community-engaged carbon-neutral SMart hOme for Occupational Therapy Healing (SMOOTH) for stroke recovery residents. A community-engaged carbon-neutral Occupational Therapy (0T) clinic office for St. Louis low-income population. The design will focus on a state-of-the-art community-engaged, SMart hOme, Occupational Therapy Healing (SMOOTH) space used as an outpatient clinic. The SMOOTH house will help low-income clients of all ages and abilities who are experiencing health challenges that require rehabilitation to learn new skills for daily living using an adaptable home environment and mixed reality technology
