The Spring Break Externship program initiated by Taubman College, University of Michigan placed me as an Architectural Extern with PORT Urbanism in Chicago. In the weeklong program I worked in collaboration with the associate architect on the production of the 3D model and concept drawings for the design presentation of the proposed master plan of the new 110 Acre 8th Street Gateway Park in Bentonville, Arkansas.

My job was primarily to convert the design concept drawings to technical drawings, and the preparation of the full set of Shop drawings. This was done through coordination with consultants, the execution team, and the budgeting team, in order to develop the material and joinery details.
This project was a turnkey project, in collaboration with Studio MB in UK.

My job dealt with the underground services coordination for the hospital building. This required resolution of complex services' interconnections that occur in a massive cancer hospital in the basement, and required coordination with other services teams to prepare the coordinated drawings to be sent on site.
