The candidate named (Shay) Zilong Wang is a versatile and competitive applicant. He started to learn to paint with charcoal when he was ten years old. The experience of painting drives him to study acrylic painting in middle school. Based on the perception of ratio in painting, he chose architecture as his major when studying as an undergraduate in China. At the same time, he completed international trading courses. As a result, he got dual bachelor's degrees (B. Arch and BBA - International Trade) when he was graduated from the university.

Then, he worked as an intern in Studio Zhu-Pei for eight months, and he became a junior architect at MAD Architects for one year in Beijing after his internship. After that, he worked on software training for the new blood as an architectural designer in Eric Architects in Shanghai. During these two years, he began to touch more software in design, including Maya and Rhino. Then, to address his exploration of parametric design, he decided to study further and apply for the master's degree courses in Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), located in Georgia, the U.S. He finished significant courses in architecture. After that, he studied more about programming and interactivity based on crossover interests in parametric design.

Now he will graduate from SCAD in June 2021. As a fan of architectural design, He hopes to be a team member of this architectural firm in the future. In addition, his diverse educational background and software abilities can guarantee that he can be adapted to work faster during the internship or a full-time job.
