Shane Jezowski is a South Florida-based designer with a practice focused on ecologically driven design, sustainable building methods, and emerging technologies.
Shane left a career in the custom fabrication industry in New York, where he was a Senior Project Manager, to return to his native South Florida and pursue his graduate degree in Architecture at the University of Miami.
He recently graduated at the top of his class and has earned numerous awards including the AIA Henry Adams Medal, AIA Palm Beach Foundation Scholar Award, The Graduate Core Student Design Award, and the Alpha Rho Chi Medal awarded to a student whose leadership, personality and attitude foreshadow exceptional professional worth.

--- This grant was proposed to Epic Mega Grants and was awarded $25,000 for the research and development of visualization tools for perceiving the effects of sea-level rise on neighborhoods. !e core idea was to use Epic’s Unreal game engine and AR/VR technology to provide viewers with a visceral experience of sea-level rise and to elicit a meaningful and action-oriented response.

The Villagers Scholar, Scholarship
The Villagers awarded a total of $18,000 for scholarships to ten deserving students with interests in architectural historic preservation. The ten students were each awarded $1,800. They were selected from a field of applicants based on scholastic standing, recommendations, samples of their work, and statements of interest in the preservation of past architecture.
AIA Palm Beach Foundation Scholar, Scholarship
The AIA Palm Beach Foundation for Architecture and the AIA Palm Beach Chapter along with funding from AIA National have created a scholarship fund available to Architecture students whose primary residence is in Palm Beach County. Recipients will be invited to attend the AIA Palm Beach Design and Honor Awards Banquet on October 12, 2022 at the Breakers to formally receive the award.

McLamore Scholar, Scholarship
$ 4,500 per year stipend, to be paid $ 2,250 in Fall and $ 2,250 in Spring. This award is separate and in addition to your tuition scholarship. The Scholarship will begin in August 2019 and continue yearly to May 2022, your anticipated date of graduation.
As a requirement of this award, at least one design project completed during your tenure at UM should address issues of landscape design as a meaningful concern. The landscape proposal may be part of any studio project and may be embedded in the larger concerns of site, program, form, structure, systems, and general identity of an architectural project. The intent of this requirement is to advance some focus on issues of landscape in architecture.
