For this project, the homeowners wanted a space for them to entertain their kids and grandchildren whenever they would visit.  The backyard currently has a well-organized outdoor kitchen, a small pool with an accent waterfall at the end of it, and a grass area for the dogs to run but the only thing missing was an outdoor-indoor living area for those great San Diego weather days.  The Patio Cover will work as an extension of the interior living area with ceiling heaters and ambient lighting and emphasize that dynamic the interior and the exterior floor will have a continuous level by raising and sloping the outside floor and by installing porcelain wood-like planks. As an enclosure from the outside when not being used as one space but continuing the indoor-outdoor theme, a frameless glass door is going to be installed for a seamless and unobstructed view of the outdoors.
