This construct works to reinterpret the spatial qualities of the unique house it is placed in. Instead of exactly designing a structure with the same kind of cubic nesting gesture, I chose to think about how the cube could be multiplied and deconstructed to create a new form. 

House N by Sou Foujimoto hides the joinery of the cube, while I seek to
showcase it explicitly. The light source I chose was a 75 watt A19 LED-bulb
and when fitted into the structure, illuminated the room brightly. The shade 
helped to diffuse the light generously because it was coated in a matte finish.
