I'm looking for a new design firm to grow with. I was previously employed at a NYC kitchen showroom, where I've worked for the past 7 years. We imported kitchens & closets from Italy, ordering from a modular systems catalog, so I'm experienced in estimating and ordering kitchen & closet cabinetry from European systems, as well as designing completely custom-tailored cabinets. I had been the sole designer at this small boutique firm since 2008, worked 6-day weeks, wore many hats, and juggled multiple projects. I'm adept at multitasking and seamlessly integrating administrative duties with design and customer service. I have a positive/calm/upbeat attitude, an eye for modern design, and work well with customers, design professionals, and employees. I love seeing a project through from start to finish, being accountable, and supporting everyone involved throughout the process.

During the economic downturn of 2008 all of the other designers & support staff were let go, and I was the only designer remaining, working in tandem with the owner on a daily basis. I honed my multitasking skills during this time while meeting deadlines and retaining accuracy.
