Design professional with a Masters in Architecture looking for opportunities that will enable me to learn more about design, construction, and the built environment as a whole. I am a passionate and hard-working individual capable of working independently and as a team player. Background in residential, interior, and commercial projects with experience in all phases of construction from schematic design to bidding and construction administration. 

Future plans include sitting for my licensing exams and sitting for the LEED Green Associate exam Aside from my passion for architecture and design, I am also interested in distance running, weight training, basketball, ultimate frisbee, hiking, cooking, and live music.

Junior architect for a full-service architecture firm located in Brooklyn, NY. Under the direction of a project manager, I work on a number of mixed-use buildings in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn, beginning with preliminary massing and zoning and code research all the way through construction administration. My primary responsibilities include site analysis and BPP drawings and coordinating drawings between trades using both Revit and Autocad.

Design Associate for a full-service architecture and interior design firm located on the Upper West Side of New York City. I work both individually and as a member of a small team on a variety of projects including townhouses, multi-family apartment buildings, as well as commercial and residential interiors. Primary resposibilities include site surveys, preparing design and construction drawings and documents for obtaining required permits, assisting in coordinating between contractors, designers, clients, and consultants, developing presentation drawings and diagrams for Landmarks Preservation applications, bid analysis, and 3D mockups using Sketchup.

As a student intern, I worked on a wide variety of project types including the rennovation of a 1920’s era hotel into a new youth hostel, a feasibility study for a lot in Manhattans Midtown East district, and the rennovation of our office located on Wall Street. My primary responisbilities included zoning research, spatial layout studies, and the the development of construction drawings and sketches for weekly OAC meetings and site walk throughs

During the tenure of my employment, I worked on two homes in the Alta Mesa Valley. My primary responisibilities included site analysis using preliminary sketches, zoning codes, and slope contour maps, construction documents and sketches, and working with firm’s visualization artists to create 3D renderings
