SMPStudios | Architecture, P.C. was founded by New York City Architect, Steven Michael Peterson in 1989.

Steven Michael Peterson is a Registered Architect practicing in the States of New York and New Jersey since 1989 and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards since 1995 for practice throughout the United States. Steven Peterson is the Founder and Principal of SMPStudios | Architecture, P.C., a collaborative, diverse Architecture and Design Studio, specializing in high-end Residential and Commercial Architecture, 3D Digital Arts and Digital Extended Reality [XR] Technology. He is the current organizer of the New York City Hololens Developers MeetUp - 900+ members exploring XR development opportunities for Digital Reality Devices.

Steven Michael Peterson is a Professor of Digital Animation and 3D Design at New Jersey Brookdale College School of Animation and a Professor of Architecture at Brookdale College School of Architecture. He serves on the Advisory Boards for its School of Architecture and its School of Digital Animation and 3D Design. He also served as the Architect and Board Member of the Rumson Historic Commission in Rumson, New Jersey, and served as a Board Member of the Downtown Redevelopment Commission of Red Bank, New Jersey.
