I am a qualified registered Architect in Italy; have run my own business of architectural design and interior design in Italy (Florence) for the past 15 years

I am an Architect and Interior Designer; i graduated "cum laude" in 2000 at the University of Florence, Italy, at the age of 26, then started my own business in 2001, in Florence Italy, after having had other work experiences such as University teaching assistant (University of Florence) and Junior Researcher, and cad/gis draftperson.

Since 2001, my main fields of activities have been:

- refurbishing and interiors of old buildings, villas and apartments, mainly residential, in the Florence / Siena / Tuscany area. (2001-now) 

- consultancy as "Consulente Tecnico D'Ufficio" (Architect Expert Witness) at Florence Law Court (2001-now) : mainly including estimation of buildings value, estimation of damage, compliance of buildings to regulations and norms, evaluation of projects and architects fees etc.

- estimation / damage consultancies for private clients 

- consultancies in building acquisition, compliance verification, notary tecnical documentation.

i have managed a small team of engineers (structural, environmental, installation designers), junior architects (i had, over time, 4 interns for a year each), and design subcontractors. 

i normally managed the full process, from surveys, to measurements, to designs and projects, authorizations, and building site overview and coordination.

i am currently working in the restoration of a 1930 villa in the hills of Tuscany, among other smaller projects, apartments etc.

until recently i have been involved in the Discipline Commettee of the Architects' Association of Florence (Italy).

Am considered smart and a quick problem solver; i am good at dealing with people, and create a nice environment to work with; am an extroverted and very passionate about my job. I believe to have a very empathic personality, and am a born leader, a very quick learner and a good communicator: after all, a big part in my profession have been managing workers in building site, and my collaborators, in an active, productive and pleasant work environment. I believe to be a good motivator, and a good teamwork leader. Am ambitious, yet humble when necessary, and am easy to talk to. 

Generally, i consider myself quite successful in what i do, i like learning new things, and seek new challenges.
